Individualised, Evidence Based Psychological Treatment
Embodiment Psychology is a telehealth clinic offering psychological therapy to adolescents and adults across Australia. We support clients with a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety and depression, and have specialist expertise in eating and body image difficulties, emotional dysregulation, and trauma.
Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck in unhelpful patterns, or simply wanting to improve your relationship with food, exercise, or your body, we’re here to help. We also support family members and loved ones who are concerned about someone’s eating behaviours or emotional wellbeing. Our approach is evidence-based, trauma-informed, and grounded in the connection between mind and body. Services include psychological therapy, clinical supervision for health professionals, and consultation or training for organisations working in mental health and eating disorder care.
If you’re looking for personalised support that is compassionate, collaborative, and attuned to your needs — you’re in the right place.
“I believe therapy is most effective when evidence-based treatment is personalised to fit the whole person, recognising their unique experience, needs, and strengths."
“I’m Rachel, a registered psychologist, and board-approved supervisor and the founder of Embodiment Psychology. I’ve been working in mental health for over 14 years, supporting individuals through various complex mental health challenges. I believe therapy is most effective when evidence-based treatment is personalised to fit the whole person, recognising their unique experience, needs, and strengths.
My work is typically focused on eating disorders, attachment difficulties, and emotional regulation challenges. I work with people who often feel disconnected — from their body, their emotions, or their sense of self. My approach is grounded in trauma-informed and attachment-aware principles, and shaped by the belief that healing happens within the therapeutic relationship: through safety, collaboration, and a respect for each person’s unique story and pace.
Clients often describe me as warm, authentic, and direct. I bring curiosity, compassion, and a sense of humour into the room — creating a space where people can feel safe, understood, and supported to do the hard, meaningful work of change.
Alongside my clinical work, I also provide supervision to early career psychologists and health professionals wanting to deepen their confidence in working with eating disorders, emotion dysregulation, and complex presentations. Whether I’m supporting a client or a supervisee, I bring the same values to the work: compassion, integrity, and authenticity.”
